Who Am I?

I am Jada Talia Grant, currently a Software Engineer working on the Windows Engineering team, creating products for millions of users globally. A Baltimore, MD native and HBCU graduate of Morgan State University Class of 2022 with a degree in Computer Science, I hold community dear to my heart. I create content on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok under the name Jada Talia, reaching thousands of viewers, and encouraging BIPOC, people from non-traditional backgrounds, and women of color to consider Software Engineering and coding as a possible career. I have been recognized by and collaborated with platforms including USA Today, Built By Girls, ABC News, Handshake, We Are HBCUs, Microsoft, Meta, YouTube, and Architectural Digest. I have served as a speaker, panelist, volunteer, and mentor for many programs regarding BIPOC in technical careers, black women in tech, diversity and inclusion in tech, tech equity, early in career talent, college internship recruitment, HBCU efforts, DEI efforts, K-12 STEM efforts, and philanthropy.
